FAQ: Product Independent - Problems Running ReactisI just installed a new local license file, but when I start Reactis, a window titled Reactis Settings appears, listing local MAC addresses, the local license file path, and license servers. Despite the local license file, a note appears saying [not currently using local license]. Why is this?A common cause of this is a mangled license file. If you just
installed a new license file, check that the Local license
file path displayed in the Reactis Settings window is
correct, and that the contents of the license file match what was sent
from Reactive Systems. Contact Reactive Systems if you need a new copy of
the license file.
While running Reactis I got the message Lost connection to License Manager. What happened?If the link between Reactis and a remote License Manager fails for some reason, then you will receive this message. You will need to restart Reactis. Before you restart you might want to investigate the cause of the link failure. Why would this link fail? There are several possibilities:
While running Reactis I got the message Lost connection to backend. What happened?The most likely cause of this error is that memory requirements
exceeded available RAM on your machine. For large models, Reactis
can require large amounts of memory to run. If this occurs, try
closing other applications before starting Reactis. If the problem
persists, you may need to install additional RAM in your computer.
