13. Global Parameters#

Parameters listed below can be accessed via the rcGetParameterValue and rcSetParameterValue functions. These parameters control the general function of Reactis for Simulink. Each parameter described here can also be accessed from the Global Settings dialog (invoked via File → Global Settings...) in the main window of the Reactis for C GUI. The parameter names and allowed values are listed below. For a more detailed description of the functionality of the parameters, see Chapter 4 of the Reactis for C User’s Guide.

13.1. General#

Parameter Name	Allowed Values	Description
`Locale`	en_EN, ja_JP	The language used in the Reactis GUI to English (en_EN) or Japanese (ja_JP).
`Encoding`	string	The character set to be used when reading C source files.
`AutoUpdateEnabled`	0, false, 1, true	Enables automatic checking for updates.
`CreateTesterParameterFiles`	0, false, 1, true	Enables creation of .rtp files, which contain the Tester parameters used to create a test suite.
`EnableLogging`	0, false, 1, true	Enables the Reactis logging facility. Enabling this can decrease performance and may generate large log files. Only enable this if asked to do so by the Reactis support team.
`LogLevel`	string	Determines what will be written to the Reactis log file (see parameter EnableLogging). If you are asked to create a log file by the Reactis support team, the required LogLevel string will be indicated.
`LogFile`	string	The pathname of the Reactis log file, which is created when logging is enabled (see parameter EnableLogging).

13.2. C Code#

Parameter Name	Allowed Values	Description
`ReactisForCFilesDir`	string	Specifies the directory where Reactis stores files that it creates and uses.

13.3. Cosimulation#

`CosimEnabled`	0, false, 1, true	If true, Reactis for C will allow the user to link to a Reactis (for Simulink) session to co-simulate a model and the C code under test.
`CosimPortMin`	number	The lower limit of the range of ports to be used for cosimulation.
`CosimPortMax`	number	The upper limit of the range of ports to be used for cosimulation.

13.4. User Info#

Parameter Name	Allowed Values	Description
`UserName`	string	Name of the current user. Setting this to `-` (single dash with no quotes) will make Reactis use the logon name of the current user. This information will be reported to the license server.
`UserPhone`	string	Phone number of the current user. This information will be reported to the license server.

13.5. License#

Parameter Name	Allowed Values	Description
`LicenseServer`	string	The IP address or host name of a server running the Reactis License Manager software.
`LicenseReleaseTimeout`	number	The maximum idle time (in seconds). When the limit is reached, Reactis will release any floating licenses it is using.
