New White Paper: Reactis Support for Automotive SPICE

Cary, NC (January 31, 2025) -- A new white paper titled Reactis Support for Automotive SPICE is now available on the Reactive Systems website. Automotive SPICE is a standard that lays out best practices for the development of automotive applications. The white paper gives an overview of the standard with a focus on the software engineering processes.

Reactis supports many of the base practices that Automotive SPICE lays out to achieve the purpose of the software engineering processes. Many organizations adopting Automotive SPICE also employ model-based design with Simulink, using Simulink models to specify the software architecture and the detailed design. In this usage, Reactis can be employed to detect runtime errors in the models and to check if the models satisfy the software requirements. For the right side of the V processes, Reactis supports back-to-back testing to check if the C code software units and software components conform to the behavior of the corresponding model.
